I want to thank all parents, students, and teachers who supported the 2011 Scholastic Book Fairs at Colton Middle and Terrace Hills Middle Schools. For those of you who didn't get to participate, don't dispair. You now have the opportunity to buy online. Click on http://scholastic.com/schoolbookfairs and follow the directions for purchases at your respected school site. The online book fairs will last through November 1 at THMS and November 4 at CMS. It's certainly not to early to think about books as XMAS gifts. Keep supporting both CMS and THMS libraries.

Red Ribbon Week reminds us of the dangers of alcohol and drug use. I discussed many beneficial resources on last year's blog. They are located at the October 2010 archives section. You will also find a list of YA fiction on this topic at the Book Club of this website. The above illustration states it best; "Drug Free is the Key".
